This is the temporary online home of Sydney’s new Tango Social Club while a dedicated site for SydneyTango.com is being developed.
SydneyTango Social Club & TangoCommunity.AU are projects of a broader international initiative that seeks to connect, support, and inspire tango communities both locally and globally. Over the past several months, we have been listening to feedback and observing discussions across the tango community. These conversations have confirmed many observations over time and have also highlighted opportunities to strengthen connections, celebrate the richness of tango culture, and create inclusive spaces for all.
Our plans include engaging local educators, event organisers, and, most importantly, the passionate tanguerxs themselves — whether professional or non-professional. For us, the tango community embraces everyone involved in its diverse ecosystem: dancers, musicians, DJs, fashion and lifestyle contributors, as well as related activities such as meditation, yoga, and other practices that often intersect with tango culture internationally.
While our full websites and social platforms are under construction, you can join us in the meantime at our official SydneyTango Social Club page on Facebook. Presence on other social media channels is also being prepared for release soon.
